WOW!! What an incredible turn out, we want to give out a heart felt thanks to the community who attended and supported Eastern Hills Community Kindergarten & Playgroup, and our local vendors at the Eastern Hills Community Expo.
With the help from our major sponsor, the Mundaring Shire and their financial support through an event grant we were able to hold our first ever Eastern Hills Community Kindy Expo where we showcased our facility and other small local businesses in town. A wonderful selection of local businesses and community groups provided an opportunity to shop local and our local coffee van was enjoyed by all the adults and with free entertainment for the children, including balloon art, face painting, giant bubbles, and sensory table experiences. We would also like to thank our volunteer parent committee who put in countless hours and effort to make this possible. We had an incredible turn out of over 300 people attending over the period of 4 hours. We believe events like this makes our community ties and connections stronger by supporting one another.
